General comments

Algemene principes behandeling:

  • Starten met iv-therapie, gedurende 1-2 weken. Switch naar orale therapie bij klinische verbetering, er geen contra-indicaties voor orale therapie zijn en er een oraal alternatief beschikbaar is. Bij een goede klinische verbetering kan ook overwogen worden sneller naar orale therapie te switchen. De totale behandelduur bedraagt 12 weken.
  • Er is geen indicatie voor het toevoegen van rifampicine.
