General comments

Algemene principes behandeling:

  • Starten met iv-therapie, gedurende 1-2 weken. Switch naar orale therapie bij klinische verbetering, er geen contra-indicaties voor orale therapie zijn en er een oraal alternatief beschikbaar is. De totale behandelduur bedraagt 12 weken.
  • Sterke voorkeur voor een 2-stage revisie.
  • Er is geen indicatie voor het toevoegen van rifampicine.
